SUPERFAMILY 1.75 HMM library and genome assignments server

Superfamily Level E-values

A low E-value score is a good hit to a model whereas a higher score is a worse hit. On the output page from a model library search, the significant hits will be above the line, and non-significant hits below the line.

The E-value is the theoretically expected number of false hits per sequence query. The E-value threshold is 0.0001.

See the SAM web-site for further documentation on E-values.
